The monorail also has a maximum speed of 22 miles per hour (36 km/h). On arrival at either end, the tram goes back in the opposite direction to pick more passengers. The tram carries people from Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino at its southern end, passing through The Luxor, before stopping at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino.
